The Tactical Lifesaver Course (TLC) is a TECC training course that is recognized by the Committee for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care, and is a derivative of the U.S. Army Combat Lifesaver Course. TLC is our most comprehensive, most sought after TECC training program! Having been adapted to teach lifesaving techniques for active shooter situations, bombings and MCI scenarios the Tactical Lifesaver Course is challenging to any provider level. The course offers multiple in-depth training scenarios that are used to drive home lifesaving techniques and emphasize Fire, EMS and Police integration. Our company also uses this course as an in-depth Rescue Task Force training program. This is a 3-day training course that will challenge anyone to learn and apply skills rapidly in the tactical environment.
This training program will teach the participant how to approach any active incident safely. Participants will train through TECC concepts, analyze stateside as well as combat statistics, and participate in multiple hands on scenarios. For department leaders that participate, you will be exposed to thousands of dollars in gear and multiple best-practice training evolutions. All enabling you to head back to your department and make informed decisions on company SOP & SOGs, equipment purchases, and personnel safety initiatives.
The concepts and skills taught during this course are currently at the forefront of national response strategy. This course in our opinion is essential to your success as a first responder in any capacity and the concepts learned here will translate not only to the tactical environment, but also to many other multi-system trauma scenarios!
NOTE / WARNING:
This training program utilizes pyrotechnics, blank ammunition, smoke machines and other sensory overload and depravation techniques. This class also will utilize moulage and live tissues as part of the training scenarios.
A live tissue airway lab may also take place as part of this training program.
Those wishing to receive a NAEMT TECC certificate may do so for an additional fee.
